Oslob Cebu

If you are looking for Marine Adventure, then Oslob Butanding (Whale Shark) adventure is right for you.  Oslob Cebu is place located in the south coast part of Cebu City.

To get there, you will ride a bus at the South Bus Terminal or a van at the Citi Link Terminal.  The ride will take 3-4 hours before you will reach Oslob.

Just tell the driver to stop you in Oslob Whale Shark Watching spot.

Once in Oslob, you will be greeted with the locals to invite you to see and experience Butanding or Whale Shark watching.

I would advise to come there early to avoid waiting for the long line especially on weekends.

General Tips:

Getting There, Ride a bus at South Bus Terminal.  The fare would be 140-155 pesos (155 for Aircon Bus).  I suggest to get in the 3am or 4am bus, so you can be there before 7am.

Between 6am to 8am, many locals are feeding the Whale Shark and the sun is not too hot.  You can best enjoy whale shark watching at those time.

The boat fare is 300 pesos per head plus 100 pesos for snorkel.  Life Jacket is free, but I recommend to rent the “Habagat” Life Jacket which is for 30 pesos.  (Total 430 pesos)
